Job Title: Chiropractic Assistant
Reporting to: Company Director and Chiropractor
Job Purpose:
To support the chiropractor and other health professionals in giving an outstanding experience to each patient. In achieving this you will ensure a welcoming and professional front of house service for clients as well being a chiropractic advocate and supporting patients on their journey to better health.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Greet all clientele in a welcoming and professional manner.
- To ensure that all customer contacts are dealt with enthusiastically, efficiently, promptly, ensuring a high-quality service is maintained at all times.
- Have a good understanding of chiropractic and what it offers patients. To achieve this, you must develop your understanding of chiropractic and the health and wellness benefits it provides.
- Understand and advise clients on products and services of Trinity & Leith Chiropractic.
- Encourage new appointments and maintain existing patients.
- Manage the appointment booking system through patient management software
- Collect and manage client payments.
- Record daily, weekly, monthly clinic stats.
- Be responsible for opening up and end of day closing clinic procedures.
- Participate in growing patient numbers and clinic success through marketing and promotional activities.
- To ensure that the reception desk, waiting areas, toilet and treatment rooms are clean and maintained in a presentable manner.
- To be responsible for managing and ordering stationery for office use.
- To develop and maintain effective office systems and update Clinic procedures as appropriate.
- To maintain confidentiality at all times dealing with sensitive issues tactfully and discreetly.
- Attend regular Team Meetings and take action points notes for it when required.
Self-development and Team working
- To undertake appropriate personal development and maintain, develop skills and knowledge as determined by your annual review and development meetings
- To work as an enthusiastic and positive team member
- To provide cover for other team members when needed
